Solo exhibition of Victoria Begalskaya "Zigi" in the art center "Winery"

On November 13, an exhibition of contemporary artist Victoria Begalskaya starts in Moscow. The artist, extremely prone to expressiveness and a riot of colors, invites the public to look into her bizarre inner world and try to unravel it.

“Zigi” is Sigmund Freud’s affectionate nickname given to him by his mother. The father of psychoanalysis discovered the whole world the territory of the unconscious and the ability to travel through it, deepening his understanding of himself and solving hidden problems that disturb the soul.

The artist uses the art brut style to create a very special atmosphere for her works. To study them through the prism of everyday perception is meaningless. Here you need to feel more and intuitively see. Intuition and sudden, spontaneous insights will help each visitor to discern a secret, and find contact with the deepest levels of the psyche of a completely alien person.

Thanks to this, one can learn to feel oneself deeper. And to understand what images and plots evoke a response from you, whether it is positive or negative. And that means they affect your life. The exhibition runs until December 9th.
