Valentine’s Day at the National Museum of Tatarstan

KAZAN. On February 14, residents of Tatarstan were able to confess their love for the art museum! Museum employees decided to hold this significant holiday of Love in an original way and created an excellent educational program that allowed visitors to plunge into the fabulous atmosphere.

Museum halls became a kind of illustrations for the story of the priest Valentin, who connected the hearts of lovers in a sacred marriage, without fear of anger from their relatives or the state. God is Love, which means that the union of lovers is sacred and must be blessed by heaven!

During the educational program, all visitors learned to express their feelings not only with beautiful, albeit somewhat heavy, verbal constructions adopted in earlier times. But also with sign language, body movements, manipulations with fans! The Museum of Tatarstan performed its main role that day - it revived the culture of past centuries and taught visitors the lost art of flirting!

The holiday was also marked by master classes in floristry, as well as handicrafts, nowadays fashionably called “hand-made”. Visitors learned to understand the meaning of each flower and make bouquets that carry hidden messages. And also do wonderful valentine cards for loved ones with your own hands.

In addition, couples in love, were able to conduct a small “rehearsal” of their wedding that day right inside the museum… Can there be anything more magical than saying the words of Love and Fidelity before the works of Art?
