An exhibition of graphics by contemporary artists of Tatarstan is open in Kazan

KAZAN. In the Gallery of Modern Art, owned by the Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan, an exhibition of graphics by artists of Tatarstan opened on August 12. Such an exhibition is held annually and is a report of the work of artists of the republic working in the genre of graphic art. Graphic masters present their works created in the past year to exhibitions.

There are no restrictions on the subject, genre, or technique at the exhibition. In the exposition, which is located in the Graphics room, you can see works made using the techniques of the original drawing, in the creation of which the artists used pen and ink, pencil and charcoal.

Judging by the works presented at the exposition, many artists have works created using techniques that lie on the border of painting and graphics. They often use watercolor, gouache and pastel in their works. Printed graphics made in the technique of etching, linocut, monotype are also on display.

Previous graphic exhibitions were organized by the Union of Artists of the Republic. This year for the first time the organization of the exhibition was occupied by the Museum of Fine Arts of Tatarstan. The Republican Museum has always been not only an enlightener and a collector of works of art. He played the role of an art center uniting all the masters of art of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Participants in the exhibition were artists well known to Kazan spectators. Each of them is a professional of the highest level, constantly in search of new topics. Traditionally, artists involved in the Grafcom creative association participate in the exhibition. An informal association in the spring successfully presented its work in Moscow, where they were awarded well-deserved awards.
