Crimean landscapes from the Yaroslavl Museum will warm residents of Saratov

SARATOV. "Sea. The sun. Crimea ”- an exhibition with this name is open in the art museum named after Radishchev. Until October 27, everyone can not only get acquainted with the works of artists of the 19-20th centuries represented by the Yaroslavl Museum of Art from their funds, but also visit excursions and events held by the Radishchev Museum on Saturday and Sunday.

Visitors to the museum these days will be able to learn a lot of interesting things about the Black Sea peninsula, which for many centuries has been the subject of struggle of the largest states of the world. Crimea became part of Russia in 1783. He was appreciated by Russian rulers not only because of his important strategic importance, but also because of the amazing beauty of his nature.

The magnificent palaces, to this day decorating the Crimean coast, were built by many of the Russian nobles. Gradually, Crimea became a favorite vacation spot and representatives of the Russian intelligentsia. Famous artists began to come here annually, whom amazing landscapes inspired to create new works.

Here the natives of Feodosia I.K.Aivazovsky and L.F. Lagoria worked, in whose works the beauty of their native places was praised. Crimean Koktebel is firmly connected with the name of the famous poet and painter M. Voloshin. In the thirties, when Crimea became the site of the construction of numerous holiday homes, artists came there for studies. As a result of this, most of the works written during these years were devoted to the theme of relaxation.

The exhibition “Sea. The sun. Crimea ”, where painters of varying degrees of fame managed to preserve their Crimean impressions in their works. The exhibition exposition consists of 65 works, some of which have not been exhibited for a long time.
