The exhibition of the artist Anatoly Annenkov "Imperial Petersburg" opens

ST. PETERSBURG. The Yelagin Ostrov Palace Museum on January 24 opens the Imperial Petersburg exhibition, which presents visitors to the museum works of art made by the artist Anatoly Annenkov.

The exhibition has become part of a program initiated and sponsored by the Unity Cultural and Scientific Foundation, led by Nadezhda Lineva. Anatoly Annenkov participates in the work of this fund as an artist-volunteer. This program is called "Three Eras - Three Periods."

The Unity Foundation was created to support charitable and social activities. Only in 2013, Anatoly Annenkov donated 20 of his works to various organizations of his native St. Petersburg, the city where he was born, and at the Institute of Painting. Repin received a professional art education.

In May of the same year, the painting by Anatoly Annenkov was presented to the Russian president, now it adorns the interior of the reception room on Old Square. At the opening of the exhibition "Imperial Petersburg", the funds of the Yelaginostrovsky Palace Museum will be replenished. Anatoly Annenkov prepared a gift - the painting “Winter Elagin”.

The exhibition included 26 paintings on which the views of St. Petersburg are filled with the grandeur and beauty that are characteristic only of this unique city. The opening of this exhibition project is timed to the anniversary of the Romanov dynasty. Anatoly Annenkov painted a large number of views of St. Petersburg, in each of the paintings revealing the soul of his native city with love. The paintings of Anatoly Annenkov are constantly participating in art exhibitions at various levels, are readily acquired by connoisseurs of painting art

Views of St. Petersburg in the Elaginoostrovsky Palace Museum can be seen until February 24th.
