Creativity of the artist Alexander Wojciechowski at an exhibition in the metropolitan gallery "Arch"

MOSCOW. This year, the metropolitan art gallery "Arch" turned twenty years old. All the years of its work, most of the gallery’s activities have been in the antiques market, where the main focus was on classical paintings created by Russian and Western European artists.

Within its walls one could see paintings of various genres, but special attention was paid to the person and the space around him. They decided to celebrate their twentieth birthday with a new exhibition project expanding the scope of Arka’s business. The first exhibition of the project was a display of the works of Alexander Wojciechowski, a famous St. Petersburg artist.

The exhibition, presented to visitors to the gallery entitled "Holiday Morning", was opened on December 4th. Interestingly, the name "anniversary" could well be added to the name of the opening exhibition. The beginning of the exhibition activity of Alexander Wojciechowski took place exactly twenty years ago, when the friends of an ambulance doctor, who has ten years of medical experience, collected the work he donated and arranged an exhibition.

The author only found out about her when he was invited by friends to an “interesting opening day”. In the future, Wojciechowski still had many exhibitions, personal and group. Five years after his first exhibition, the artist began to engage only in creativity, which gained popularity among art lovers.

Visitors to the Wojciechowski exhibition in the “Arch”, open on December 17th, will be able to see the works performed by the artist during this year, as well as those already familiar from previous shows. The exposition is supplemented by illustrations for the Pushkin’s “Young Lady-Peasant Woman”, made by the artist for the University of Tokyo Publishing House.
