Landscapes of the Omsk artist Viktor Kasyanov at the exhibition "From distant wanderings .."

OMSK. The Kondraty Belov Museum presents an exhibition of the works of Viktor Kasyanov, a famous Omsk artist, an employee of the Museum named after Vrubel. The name of the exhibition - “From distant wanderings…” fully reveals the contents of the exposition. The artist decided to show visitors beautiful places where he worked on creating landscapes.

Viktor Kasyanov traveled a lot in our country, visited the Baltic States, Turkey and Moldova. On his canvases landscapes of the republics of Central Asia and the beautiful corners of Altai nature. The artist paints his paintings in a realistic manner, making them major and life-affirming.

Love for life and man is the principal position of the artist in his work. With his canvases, Viktor Kasyanov shows how amazing the beauty of the world is, if it is not violated by wars in different regions. In total, the artist presented about 50 landscape works created on trips.

Solo exhibition of Victor Kasyanov is held for the third time. The artist dedicated it to his jubilee date - the great Siberian landscape painter Kondraty Petrovich Belov would have turned 115 years old. In addition to the paintings by Kasyanov, the exhibition showcases housed archival photographs, publications on the artist’s work, and catalogs of previous exhibitions. There was a place for studies written by Victor Kasyanov.

Viktor Petrovich is a native of Omsk. He received the specialty of a graphic artist at the Omsk Pedagogical Institute, and then for a quarter of a century he worked as a designer at the Omsk television factory. He has the title of Honorary Designer of Russia and is a member of the Creative Union of Russian Artists. In his creative luggage there are several books on art and a huge number of articles devoted to the same topic.

The exhibition runs on March 12.
