A joint exhibition of Korean and Russian artists has opened in the Primorsky Gallery of Vladivostok

VLADIVOSTOK. On June 4, an exhibition of works by artists from Russia and South Korea opened at the Primorsky Art Gallery. This exhibition was the beginning of the international project "Russia - Korea". Bilateral cooperation of artists of the Far East and the South Korean city of Gimpo provides an opportunity for residents of these regions to get acquainted with the features inherent in the work of artists of countries with different national traditions.

The exhibition opened in Vladivostok, the Primorsky Gallery continues ongoing projects taking place in the territories of countries that are direct neighbors and maintain good relations. The works created by South Korean masters of art have been successfully demonstrated more than once in Vladivostok.

Last spring, the inhabitants of Primorye warmly welcomed the exhibition, the exposition of which consisted of works by Korean artists working in various genres. The creativity of seaside painters is also well known to Korean art lovers.

The new exhibition in the Primorsky Gallery will present in its exposition the works of Korean colleagues, still unfamiliar to the Russian public - they were brought to our country for the first time. The Association of Artists from the City of Gimpo provided 47 works by Korean artists. Seaside artists supplemented the exposition with thirty of their works performed in various techniques.

The exhibition project combined painting, graphics, sculpture and decorative art, as well as calligraphy in a single space. This exhibition is interesting to all art lovers. The inhabitants of Primorye can see this collection until June 29th, and then the exhibition will go to Korea. In the city of Gimpo, it will be open to the public in November this year.
