"Line and Light" - the anniversary exhibition of the artist Alexander Khudchenko in Feodosia

THEODOSIA. On the eve of the celebration of City Day, the Museum of Antiquities presented a new art exhibition. Under the name “Line and Color”, a personal exhibition of the famous Theodosian artist Alexander Khudchenko was opened.

The exposition is dedicated to several events at the same time. One of them was the Year of Literature, celebrated by the Russians. Alexander Nikolaevich is a talented graphic artist who has been engaged in book illustration for many years. Therefore, there is no need to explain the reason why the exhibition is dedicated to the Year of Literature.

This year, Alexander Khudchenko celebrates his seventieth birthday, so the exhibition has become an anniversary for the artist, representing the main directions of his work. The exposition found a place for illustrations for books, watercolors and graphic works. In total, visitors to the exhibition will be able to see more than four dozen works that were born thanks to the skill of a talented artist.

Alexander Nikolaevich uses various techniques used in painting and drawing to create his works, he successfully works in various genres. In his works, mythological plots are intertwined with real events taken from our lives. The watercolor works created by Khudchenko are filled with romantic love for the beautiful.

Images of sailboats often appear in his works, symbolizing the desire of people to learn new worlds that are beyond the horizon.
