Alice to the exhibition "Irkutsk Alice and Others" in the "Estate of V.P. Sukachev" admission is free

As part of the graphics exhibition "Irkutsk Alice and others…" , which works in the "Estate of V.P. Sukachev", a special action has started. From October 15, 2015, any Alice owner can visit the exhibition for free. For this, it is enough for adults to show any identification document: passport, driver’s license, official or pension certificate, student ID. For children, such a document can be not only a birth certificate, but even an electronic school pass. The main condition is that you can identify the name of the visitor.

Recall the exhibition "Irkutsk Alice and others…" dedicated to the year of literature in Russia and dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the release of the first edition of Lewis Carroll’s book “Alice in Wonderland”. In Irkutsk, this work was first published in 1992, all illustrations for it were completed by graphic artist Yana Lisitsina.

After the release of the book, Yana Lisitsina continued the theme of Alice, creating a series of lithographs while working at the Chelyuskinskaya Creative House (Moscow), equipped for graphic artists. The complete set of lithographs “Alice in Wonderland” can just be seen at the exhibition in the estate. The company Alice is composed of characters from other publications, on the illustrations of which Yana Lisitsina also worked.

The exhibition is of interest to citizens and visitors. And just as in the work of Lewis Carroll, here a visitor of any age finds something interesting for himself. With this in mind, the organizers decided not to make any age restrictions for visitors by the name of Alice - all namesake of the book heroine, without exception, can use the right to visit for free. The important thing is not to miss the time. An exhibition of graphics by Yana Lisitsina will work in the "Estate of V.P. Sukachev" until November 1, 2015.
