A book on the history of video games goes on sale in September

MOSCOW. The book of the famous British journalist Tristan Donovan “Play! The history of video games ”will now be translated into Russian. The publishing house "White Apple" reported that already on September 29 this year, a work on the history of the creation of video games will appear on the bookshelves of Russia. The book details the evolution of video games and their impact on world pop culture. In the work of Tristan Donovan, not only events related to the history of the video games of Japan and the United States are affected, he is also interested in China, South Korea and Russia.

To create the book, Donovan collected material based on research and more than 140 interviews he took from key figures in the video game industry. The journalist in English published his work back in 2010. After the decision to publish the book “Play! The history of video games ”in Russian Donovan wrote a new chapter on the Russian segment of the modern gaming industry.
