Summary of the story by N. Nosov "Blot"

Fedy Rybkin had the habit of making his classmates laugh, regardless of whether the lesson was on or the long-awaited change came.

Once Fedya and Grisha Kopeikin, in the struggle for a bottle of carcass, splashed one drop on Feda’s forehead. A drop instantly turned into a huge black blot. The guys began to laugh and Fedya decided not to wash off the blot.

The students continued to laugh in the lesson. To enhance the effect, Fedya painted his nose with mascara. The class simply hummed with laughter, and the teacher Zinaida Ivanovna was very surprised to see the reason for the fun.

She asked Feda if he had stained his face with mascara. When Fedya confirmed, Zinaid Ivanovna said that this mascara is poisonous and can corrode the skin down to sores. And in the initial stage of the lesion, skin itching occurs and blisters appear.

Fedya was seriously scared and began to intensively wipe his skin with a handkerchief, eraser, blotter. He had a distinct sensation that his face was burning and itching. Grisha Kopeikin carefully monitored the effects of the “poison” on the skin of his comrade and gave him various advice. Fedya was always trying to leave the classroom to wash himself faster and protect himself, but the teacher did not let him go. And only at the break Fedya wiped his painted face.

After this incident, Fedya never laughed again at the lessons.

The story teaches us that we always need to think about the consequences of our actions and follow the well-known Russian proverb “business time, fun hour”.
