Sakhalin invites comedians throughout the country

SAKHALIN. Employees of the Sakhalin Oblast Universal Scientific Library and the regional branch of the Writers’ Union of Russia have announced the launch of the new All-Russian literary contest of humorous stories “Holy Simplicity”. The winners will go to the south of Sakhalin.

According to a statement from a widespread release of the event, the purpose of this literary contest is to promote the masses of modern Russian literature, as well as to develop and strengthen the cultural cooperation of the region with libraries and authors from other regions of Russia. Therefore, the organizers of the litforum and announced the status of the competition as the All-Russian.

It follows from the same release that both professional writers and novice writers can send their works to the contest “Holy Simplicity”, regardless of their age and social status. The main and practical only condition is that the work sent to the competition should be written exclusively in Russian. It is worth noting that the organizers also do not limit the contestants in the volume of submitted works.

According to the rules of the competition, the jury will select three finalists, whose work will be the most fun. The winners of “Holy Simplicity” will receive copyright copies of the final collection, which will collect the best humorous stories of the competition, and they will also be presented with tourist tickets to the south of Sakhalin, where they can go in October this year.
