Kostya Dzyu and Vladimir Khryunov conquered Literary Olympus Automatic translate
MOSCOW. The absolute world boxing champion Kostya Dzyu, as well as the famous Russian sports manager Vladimir Khryunov, became the owners of the international literary award and the literary Olympus of the same name.
The Writers’ Union of Russia awarded one of the most prestigious literary prizes to promoter Vladimir Khryunov for his "initiative to publish Tyson. Ruthless truth ", as well as for the invaluable contribution to the development of boxing and the education of youth."
It is worth noting that last year the Union of Writers of Russia introduced the issue of accepting Mike Tyson into its association. However, the decision was never made, and subsequently the representative of the Moscow city organization of the Union of Writers of Russia Vladimir Boyarinov said that only a citizen of the Russian Federation has the right to become an honorary member of the club of writers. Therefore, the Association of Russian Writers decided to mark the work of Mike Tyson with the prestigious Literary Olympus Prize.
As for Kostya Ju, the absolute world boxing champion was awarded for his first publication of the children’s book “The Adventures of Kostya Ju and His Friends,” which was released last year. At the awarding ceremony of the boxer, who changed his gloves to a fountain pen, Konstantin spoke about the motives that prompted him to write this work. As Ju confessed, a turning point occurred in America when his name was included in the International Boxing Hall of Fame. It was then that the world champion realized that he was simply obliged to share with the younger generation the secrets of his success in the sports arena.
Initially, Konstantin Dzyu wrote his book in English, and then brought it to Russia and translated it into his native language. “And if this book is useful for even one or two children, I will consider that my work was not in vain,” said the beginning writer. Today the work “The Adventures of Kostya Ju and His Friends” is published in Russia, Australia, Europe and America, where the boxer lived for a long time.
Representatives of the Union of Writers of Russia also noted that in the near future the book by Kostya Dzyu will qualify for the medal of Samuel Marshak and the All-Russian Literary Prize.
