More than 400 people attended a concert of a wind instrument orchestra from Germany in the Estate of V.P. Sukachev

Of great interest to the Irkutsk residents and guests of the city was a concert of a wind instrument orchestra from Germany (Riza), which took place in the Estate of V. P. Sukachev. Recall that the concert was free and took place on the open area of the estate. About 400 people gathered to listen to the performance of the orchestra. The concert consisted of two parts. In the first, classical works by Modest Mussorgsky, a prominent representative of the Hungarian school Joseph Haydn, Dmitry Bortnyansky, a Russian composer of the turn of the 18th-19th centuries, as well as the orchestral suite by Georg Friedrich Engel “Music on the Water” sounded. After the intermission, the musicians performed works familiar to many: Saber Dance by Khachaturian, Ravel’s Bolero, music from the rock opera Jesus Christ the Super Star and others. The concert lasted more than two hours. The audience awarded the musicians with prolonged applause, who in turn played an encore three more times. The conductor of the orchestra Wolfgang Joseph Haufe noted the hospitality of the Irkutsk audience, and in addition, the special atmosphere of the estate itself - before the concert, the musicians went on a tour of the main exhibition, telling about the life of V.P. Sukachev.
