MOSCOW. The VIII International Festival Vivacello has started.

The appearance of his handsome prince of the cello had to wait several centuries. The ingenious Catalan Pablo Casals (Pablo Casals) managed to open her soul and "take" out of it everything that she is capable of. He compared the instrument to a woman whose beauty is timeless and has become more sophisticated and sophisticated over the years. Casals taught how to handle the instrument and others, proposing new techniques and game techniques. After many years in the shadow of more successful brothers in the symphony orchestra, the cello proved its unconditional solvency. Her voice, passionate, deep, so reminiscent of human singing, sounded in full force.

The VIVACELLO cello music festival is being held in the capital for the eighth time. Its founder and artistic director is the winner of numerous prizes and competitions Boris Andrianov. In Russia, such a festival has no analogues and is of great interest to the public. World premieres of new works, participation of world-class musicians, a diverse program combining traditional classics and innovative projects - the corporate identity and highlight of VIVACELLO. This year it runs from November 16 to 25. The program includes Beethoven’s sonatas performed by the legendary David Geringas, a student of Rostropovich, performances by his famous students - Jens Peter Maintz and Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt, a concert dedicated to Pabloz Claoz Casalsu (Claudio Bohorquez), Giovanni Sollima and Boris Andrianov. The unusual project "Rivers and Streets" combining the word of art and cello-piano improvisations on the theme of Brodsky’s poetry will be presented for the first time at this festival.

At the opening of VIVACELLO, November 16, several premieres took place. World - of the new edition of the cello concert by Richard Dubunion, Russian - Kadish for cello and orchestra Anna Drubich. The concert was attended by the famous Swedish musician, winner of the Casals contest in Budapest, Torleif Tedeen, Gidon Kremer’s successor at the Lokenhaus festival, Nicholas Altstedt, artistic director of MiMoDa Studio, winner of international competitions Eugene Tonha.
