PENZA. On the small stage of the regional drama theater, continuing the project “From the pen”, on February 12, the premiere of the play “Next will be a new day…” staged based on the play by Yaroslav Pulinovich will take place. The From the Pen project is dedicated to the implementation on the stage of the theater of the latest works by Russian playwrights.

Yaroslav Pulinovich is the author of plays that have received recognition not only from the theater public, she is the winner of many literary prizes in dramaturgy, and the performances based on her plays staged on the stages of many theaters in the country are always in demand by the public.

The most impatient Penza theatergoers have already managed to visit the pre-premiere runs of the play and express their admiration not only for the participants in the production, but also for the author of the play, no one was indifferent after watching. The plot of the play somewhat echoes the previous premiere production of the theater, which was born this year. In both performances, the issue that is relevant for our days is being resolved: is it possible to buy happiness for money?

The subtitle given to the performance by its director Vladimir Karpov is a brief description of the task facing the heroine of the play, which devotes the entire action of the play to the search for happiness.

A woman who is successful in business, Jeanne, it would seem, has achieved everything in life in a poor childhood and youth. She managed to survive during this time the betrayal of loved ones. Relatives, but in return received only business partners who replaced her friends, the family did not form, the children also did not appear. And she, like any person, wants ordinary happiness, because such a desire is characteristic of everyone.

Actress Lidia Stakhanova, who plays the main role in the play, was condescending to her heroine, because in real life, anything happens too.
