Drama Theater Kachalova in the new season will receive an updated scene

KAZAN. In the evening of July 16, the theater audience of Kazan for the last time this season will come to the theater. Kachalova to see the play "Dear Citizens", staged based on the works of Mikhail Zoshchenko. The next meeting of the theater staff with the audience will take place in the fall, in the new theater season.

In the season that ended, many events were important for the troupe of the theater, one of the oldest Russian theater groups. The most important of them can be called the ending large-scale reconstruction of the main stage of the theater. The updated scene should take its owners in the new theater season.

In connection with the reconstruction of the main theater stage, the troupe has a new stage - the Small Stage. During the repair, this stage space became the main one for the actors.

Three performances were transferred to the small stage - “Dear Citizens”, “Cherry Orchard”, and “Uncle’s Dream”. It would be more correct to say that the actors re-created these performances. People’s artist Svetlana Romanova presented the audience the solo performance “Last Day” created by her, based on the poems of Marina Tsvetaeva. This unique performance has become an amazing combination of laconicism with drama and confession.

Since the main stage of the theater did not work last season, the troupe often went on tour, a traditional three-week trip to Sochi took place, where the Kachalovites gathered full halls of spectators. The performances of the Kazan theater were able to be seen by residents of many cities of the country, and from Rostov-on-Don, the actors brought awards in five categories, presenting the performance “Squaring the Circle” at the festival “Russian Comedy”. At this time, the theater is already preparing for the new season - rehearsals of two performances are in progress.
