KAZAN. The third time the team of the Russian Drama Theater. Kachalova met after a vacation on the Small Stage. This year, the actors gathered in the theater on August 12 to discuss plans for the upcoming, 224th season. The main event of the upcoming season will be the opening of the main stage of the theater after a large-scale reconstruction.

Now the theater is finishing work, the theater team plans to make its fans a grand gift for the New Year. It is at the end of this year that the first meeting with the audience on the updated main stage is planned.

Alexander Slavutsky, the artistic director of the theater, has already begun rehearsing the famous comedy “The Marriage of Figaro”, the premiere of which will be seen by those who are lucky enough to be the first to come to the theater after completion of its reconstruction.

August 30 at the Theater. Kachalov awaits the visit of a delegation of the leadership of Tatarstan, including Rustam Minnikhanov, the president of the republic. According to Alexander Slavutsky, this meeting cannot be called the surrender of the theater after reconstruction. The reconstruction can be considered complete when the first spectators come to the theater hall.

Distinguished guests will be able to see how grandiose work has been done during the reconstruction of the theater. It is difficult to say how long it would take without the support of the president. The theater is almost ready, and the actors hope that the opening scheduled for the end of the year will take place on time. Premieres are already scheduled to take place on the Main Stage.

So far, all the "big" performances are being played on the stage of the Kamalovsky Theater, where the Kachalovites will open the new season on September 9th. The premiere awaits the audience on the Small Stage - on September 18, the artists will present the play “The Mousetrap”, staged by the tinned artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilya Slavutsky.
