New theater project in Voronezh - four plays in two evenings

VORONEZH. An unusual theater marathon took place on July 3rd and 4th on the stage of the city House of Actor. This is a new project organized by the creator of the Theater of One, a famous actor of the Voronezh Chamber Theater, Boris Alekseev.

In his theater, Boris Alekseev is one and all in all faces - he is an author, director, artist, and the participants in the performances he created are not only Voronezh actors, but also senior students of the Academy of Arts.

However, in the new project, the director decided once again to surprise the Voronezh theater-goers - four performances presented in two days on the stage of the Actor’s House are not quite ordinary productions. It is difficult for this genre to come up with an exact definition - acquaintance of the audience with four plays of modern playwrights who won prizes in the competition “Eurasia, took place in the form of their reading.

This does not mean that the actors were sitting at the table and uttering cues from the plays. We can say that the audience got the opportunity to attend an open rehearsal of the future performance, hitting the hall at the moment when the theatrical drawing is already present, but the text is still read “from the sheet”. Sometimes I call such a show a sketch for a performance. Boris Alekseev decided to call him a presentation.

On July 3, the audience was presented with the play “Three of us” written by Lyusya Gvaramadze and “Take Me to You”, a comedy written by Ekaterina Vasilyeva. The next day, July 4th, the casting and love of the people were shown. The author of the first play is German Grekov, the second - Dmitry Bogaslavsky.

After the presentations, everyone could discuss the presented plays. It is worth noting that tickets for the presentation were not sold, and the entrance fee was voluntary donations to the theater. At the entrance stood a rather quickly filling box.
