The Vladimir Theater presented two premieres for the New Year holidays

VLADIMIR. The Vladimir Drama Theater prepared two gifts for its fans for the New Year at once - one of them is intended for the younger generation of spectators. The premiere of the play “The Wizard of the Emerald City”, staged in the form of an interactive musical tale, took place at the beginning of the New Year holidays.

This tale is well known even to the smallest viewers, so they actively helped fairy-tale heroes go their way to the goal, prompting from the audience what to do in order to defeat evil sorceresses. Naturally, the help of the audience gave the desired result. The author of the production is Vladimir Kuznetsov. His acting career began in the Vladimir drama in 2004, and the directorial career in 2012, the premiere of the play “Heart of a Dog”.

The second gift was the premiere of the performance for adults, which took place on the small stage of the theater on January 3. Theater actor Anton Kartashov, making his debut as a director, chose the play of the successful French playwright Matey Vishnek for staging. Its original name is so long that on the playbill it turned into a short word - “Pandas”.

Although this performance was the first directorial work of Anton Kartashov, who has been working in the theater since 2004, the young director turned to complex material, which became the subject of heated discussion. The action is as close as possible to the audience. The scenery is minimal - a huge bed and nine alarm clocks, counting the time during which the soul of the hero of the performance is reborn.

Each of the nine nights spent together by the heroes of the play becomes a small life. She warns that He may lose everything, but he is worried about the present. And in his next life, He (Vitaliy Panasenko) becomes a panda bear living in a zoo. She visits him sometimes.
