MOSCOW. For the tenth time, representatives of theatrical universities of our country and abroad gathered in the capital. The international festival “Your Chance” has long become prestigious among aspiring artists and directors. It is becoming increasingly difficult to become a participant every year, since competition in the selection of student work is extremely high.

In the center "On Strastnoy" the first shows of the work of student groups took place. Participation in the festival was for many, first of all, a chance to show themselves. For young directors and actors, this is the most important component of the theater forum, and viewers are interested in getting acquainted with the works of people who can very soon turn into celebrities.

According to the director of the festival, Mikhail Pushkin, all who managed to pass the competitive selection can already be called winners. More than 250 applications were submitted for participation in the festival “Your Chance”. Only seventeen performances took part in the theater forum. The six performances that came to the festival are the work of students from Moscow theater universities.

The festival organizers believe that the performances prepared for the show at the festival “Your Chance” by representatives of the capital’s universities are significantly different from other festival participants, but each team has the opportunity to become a winner. The award of the competition is so prestigious that not only metropolitan students dream of it. The performance, which received the highest festival award, will show it on the stage of the theater “On Strastnoy” during the next season.

Another prize from the Union of Theatrical Figures is awaited by a theater artist, who has provided the best costumes for the performance and the layout of the scenery for the competition - he will receive $ 1000. The names of the winners will be announced on May 25, at the close of the festival.
