The First Theater Festival was held in Salekhard for the third time

SALEHARD. In the capital of Yamal, the performances presented in the "First Theater Festival" were held with great success. In fact, the festival gathers spectators and program participants for the third time, and the name remains unchanged. It is possible that the reason for this constancy is the festival program, each time dedicated to a new topic.

This year, viewers of Salekhard saw “Stories for All Seasons”. The program includes performances about love, filled with romance. Not forgotten and the anniversary of Victory Day. Two stories are devoted to him, told in the performances of local groups. The Northern Stage Theater, the pride of Novy Urengoy, brought its latest premiere to Salekhard.

“Convoy DB 5” is a story about the real events of August 1944, when a tragedy occurred in the Kara Sea. The ship "Marina Raskova" was sunk by a Nazi submarine. Among its passengers were many women and children. The heroes of the tragedy came to life on stage.

The name of the poetic performance presented in the festival program by the theater studio "Kamorka" from Salekhard also reminds of wartime. The composition created by the students is called Children of War.

An invaluable gift for the audience of Salekhard was a performance that has long turned into a legend - the theater came to them at the festival. Moscow City Council to show the rock opera "Jesus Christ is a superstar." To show it in the hall of the CDC, it was necessary to increase the space of the stage. He entered the festival program and ballet. Theater named after Natalya Sats brought Swan Lake to Salekhard.

The festival ended with a poetic program performed by Chulpan Khamatova, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation. The actress used the works of Tsvetaeva and Bella Akhmadulina in her solo performance. She was assisted by musicians - Polina Kondratkova (piano) and Veronika Kozhukharova (saxophone).
