Theatrical season in the theater. Okhlopkova ended with a meeting with reporters

IRKUTSK. Jubilee, 165th theater Okhlopkova completed a tour in Crimea, where in two weeks they managed to show 19 performances in four cities - Simferopol and Yalta, Alushta and Sevastopol. All performances were a huge success, ending with enthusiastic applause.

On a tour, Irkutsk artists took five performances, among which were intended for both the large stage and the chamber. The most emotional viewers perceived the play "Deadline", which today is the best production of the theater.

Returning from the tour, the theater leaders held a press conference where they not only discussed the results of the season that ended, but also talked about their plans for the next theater year. In the upcoming season, which starts on October 3 with the performance of “The Quartet for Two,” many interesting events await the audience.

In early September, the theater will receive guests from the capital on its stage - the Et Cetera theater will show Irkutsk theater-goers three performances - The Comedy of Errors, The Secret of Aunt Malkin and Shylock. After the tour of Moscow artists, the theater will again receive guests.

Since September 20, the theater. Okhlopkova will present her stage to the participants of the Vampilov festival, which is gathering theaters of different countries in Irkutsk for the tenth time. The arrival of 14 theater groups is planned. The arrival of guests representing Korea, Mongolia, Belarus is expected.

According to established tradition, at the festival participants are expected to receive master classes from the masters of the genre and round-table meetings. A meeting with Moscow philologists is scheduled for September 23, entitled "From Dostoevsky to Rasputin."

The next theater year will be presented to the audience by the premieres of performances based on the works of Dostoevsky - the season will be dedicated to the great writer.
