The press service of the Theater of Nations shared plans for the new theater season

MOSCOW. The Theater of Nations in the new season did not hold a meeting of the artistic director of the collective E. Mironov with representatives of the media. The theater’s plans for the upcoming season were told with the help of the theater press service. The main among the expected events is the preparation of the play "Ivanov", work on which began last season.

Famous director Luke Bondi was invited from France to work on the Chekhov play. At the end of last season, Luke Bondi managed to cast actors and several rehearsals. The names of the main performers were determined before the start of the casting. The main roles were given to Chulpan Khamatova and, of course, to Evgeny Mironov.

Actors of other metropolitan theaters, well-known theater-goers of the country leading roles in their groups, became performers of the remaining roles of the play. Among them are Olga Volkova and Dmitry Seryuk, Dmitry Maryanov and other, no less famous names. The performance should be ready to be shown to the audience in the next May.

As before, at the Theater of Nations, work will continue with beginner directors. For this purpose, they are given the space of the Small Stage. The first to show his work is Maxim Didenko. He recently released two interesting performances.

One was Konarmia, performed by students of the Moscow Art Theater School, and the second was Harms. Myr ”, set in the“ Gogol Center ”. Now the audience will see “Idiot”, where 20 characters of the performance will be played by only four artists. The premiere is scheduled for the end of the year. In March, the play “Honest con man” directed by Iskander Sakaev will appear in the repertoire of the Small Stage.

A trip to the city of Mirny, to which the artists will leave in October, at the theater, a new project begins, called "Theater of the Nations FEST…". Within its framework, shows will be held various forms of work of the theater team.
