In Omsk "Fifth Theater" with the performance "When the Mountains Fall" the program of the festival "Young Theaters of Russia" began

OMSK. For the tenth time, participants in the festival "Young Theaters of Russia" gathered in Omsk. Traditionally, its organizer was the Omsk "Fifth Theater", on the stage of which all festival events will take place, including its grand opening. The first performance presented to the guests and participants of the festival was the premiere from the hosts of the festival - the Fifth Theater.

Viewers saw the work of a talented creative team invited to Omsk from St. Petersburg - Denis Khusniyarov and Natalya Kasparova, who embodied the last novel written by Chingiz Aitmatov on stage. The performance "When the mountains fall" was presented to the Omsk audience just a week ago. Now the story of the love of our contemporaries, interwoven with an oriental legend, was also able to be seen by festival participants who came to Omsk from different Russian cities.

Before the opening ceremony, a press conference was held at the theater. Among the participants in the meeting with reporters were eminent guests. Present was Victor Lapukhin, Minister of Culture of the Omsk region, Nikita Grinshpun, who replaced Alexander Yurkov, who passed away in July this year, in his position. The creator of the School of Modern Play, director Joseph Reichelgauz, also participated in the press conference.

This theater brought to the festival the play “To Save the Pushkin Junker Chamber”, where only young actors, graduates of his workshop in GITIS, are engaged. The Reichelgauz Theater is a long-time participant in the Young Theaters of Russia. According to the director, if this festival will continue to collect young theaters not by age, but by state of mind, then it can become eternal.

Nikita Grinshpun noted that viewers and journalists should see all the festival performances, since each of the theaters is different, with its own theme. It is impossible to single out the best of the participants.
