MOSCOW. "Premier Parade", promised to the audience of the theater. Vakhtangov on the New Stage, continued on December 26 with the premiere of the play "Peter Pan". Over the past five years, “Peter Pan” has become the second play for children staged at the Vakhtangov Theater. Although the director Alexander Koruchekov, who put this famous fairy tale written by the playwright James Barry, speaks of the impossibility of enclosing the story of Peter Pan in the framework of children’s literature.

There are tales where a deep philosophical subtext is hidden. Literary scholars devoted entire volumes of research to Alice’s travels through wonderland. No less has been written about the story of Peter Pan, in which many layers are also found that raise important problems that appear in the lives of children.

For this reason, the play "Peter Pan", staged by Alexander Koruchekov with his students, fourth-year students of "Schukinki", is more likely a production for family viewing. According to the director, the idea of addressing this famous fairy tale belongs to Rimas Tuminas, the head of the theater.

Now in the repertoire of the New Stage, a play for children has appeared, where students will play all the roles. Each year, the cast will be updated - new graduates of the Shchukin school will become participants in the performance. The first viewers who were lucky enough to visit the magical land where Peter Pan went on his fantastic journey were delighted with the impressions received.

The play included fun games and adventures, choreographic episodes and meetings with interesting characters. The musical accompaniment created by Peter Nalich filled the stage space with magical sounds, and his author’s tunes are complemented by the works of famous music groups.
