Exhibition "Favorite Theater and Cinema Artists in Portraits of Artists"

For the first time in the history of art, the Golden Reach Gallery and the State Academic Theater named after Yevgeny Vakhtangov carried out a project to create a collection of full-scale portraits of theater artists in the images of the heroes of classical repertoire performances.

Portraits of Vladimir Etush, Vyacheslav Shalevich, Irina Kupchenko, Maria Aronova, Evgeny Knyazev, Sergey Makovetsky, Vladimir Simonov, Alexei Guskov, Yuri Shlykov, Viktor Sukhorukov, Elena Sotnikova, Lydia Velezheva, Marina Esipenko, Julia Rutgenia, Viktoria, Andrey Dobronravov, Arthur Ivanov, Maria Berdinsky, Leonid Bichevin, Alexander Oleshko, Maria Volkova and Rimas Tuminas are made with great love for the Vakhtangovites.

The thoughtfulness of the composition, exquisite color and the exact transfer of the character of the model are distinguished by the works of artists Sergei Aldushkin, Irina Ganina, Julia Blinova, Natalya Zaitseva, Olga Kurilova, Anton Lobov, Anastasia Lobova, Nadezhda Lykova.

The persuasiveness and spirituality of the letter of the project participants indicates their proximity to the great traditions of Russian art culture of previous periods. Currently, these masters can be confidently called the heirs of V. Serov, M. Nesterov, K. Korovin, the geniuses of the Russian school of realism and impressionism.

The collection "Artists of the Yevgeny Vakhtangov Theater in the portraits of artists" will be presented at exhibitions in Russian and foreign museums in the future and will undoubtedly become a bright page in the history of Russian.
