The premiere of "Romeo and Juliet" was successfully held at the Saratov Drama Theater

SARATOV. Last weekend, the Saratov theater-goers once again plunged into the atmosphere of the immortal poem of Shakespeare. Director Marina Glukhovskaya, whose work is well known to the Saratovites, presented her stage reading of the play “Romeo and Juliet” in the Saratov drama.

This season, the most famous of the tragedies written by the great playwright, Saratov artists turn for the second time. In early autumn, the events taking place in Verona were told in the Youth Theater to them. Kiseleva, where the plastic version of the play was created. Sobinova, Catherine Dudchenko, and the role of Romeo appeared artist Maxim Loktionov. He is not much older than his partner. Although the plot of the play is familiar to almost everyone, the atmosphere created on the stage makes the audience completely immerse themselves in the events of this difficult story.

The magnificent musical accompaniment and the talented scenography of Yuri Namestnikov become one more advantage of the production. The Saratov audience, spoiled by tours of the capital’s theaters, considered this performance an excellent work of the director and the acting team, expressing their admiration for the long applause. This performance is surely waiting for a happy fate.
