The play, on which Tilman Köller decided to start work, tells about the time of changes that took place in both countries almost simultaneously. Therefore, the memories of a teenager, whose homeland was East Germany, are similar to those that could have been written by people who survived the time when socialism ended in Russia.

Political systems are changing, habitual life is changing with them. The hero of the play recalls how the meaning of things important before is lost, and the relations of his parents are on the verge of destruction. According to the director, the playwright wrote a play with a deep and impressive text, where through childhood memories the role of changes breaking the link between generations is shown.
