In the Krasnodar Theater. Gorky presented the performance "Gronholm Method"

KRASNODAR. Fans of the Drama Theater. Gorky had to wait a long time for the premiere of the play “The Gronholm Method”, staged by the young director Olga Storozhenko. Initially, the premiere was scheduled for January 5, but took place on April 5 for reasons beyond the control of the director.

The play was based on the popular satirical play written by the Spanish playwright Jordi Galseran. First staged in 2003, the play instantly interested directors from different countries. Two years after the world premiere of the play, "The Gronholm Method" was successfully broadcast on cinema screens.

For Olga Storozhenko, the play she staged became her debut on the stage of the Krasnoyarsk drama. With this performance, she takes the first steps in the profession of director, while Olga Storozhenko is still a student at the Institute named after Schukin. Her teacher in the course of the directing department Yuri Eremin, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation.

The young director is grateful to the leadership of the Krasnodar drama for the opportunity to realize her intentions in the first professional directorial work. In reading the director, the play staged in the space of the chamber scene is designated as a psychological detective on the poster.

However, in a conversation with Olga Storozhenko, which took place before the premiere, the director said that although the play has an element of investigation, it would be much more accurate to call it a psychological thriller. They did not use this term in the title so as not to scare away the audience, but there are all the signs of a thriller in the play - it is filled with a sense of anxious expectation.

When asked what difficulties she had in creating the play, Olga replied that she had to become not only the director of the production, but also her artist. Therefore, work on the play had twice as much.
