"Gronholm Method" - the premiere in the Nizhny Novgorod drama. Gorky

NIZHNY NOVGOROD. In the Nizhny Novgorod drama. On November 12, Gorky was presented to the audience the second premiere of the season - the performance “The Gronholm Method” staged by the honored artist of the Russian Federation Alexander Suchkov. The play is based on a play written in 2003 by the Spanish playwright Jordi Galseran.

For the first time this play was staged the same year that it was written on the stage of the Barcelona theater Poliorama. Over the next ten years, the work of Halseran was successfully staged in different countries, and in 2005, the feature film “Method” was released.

Russian theater-goers first got acquainted with the play in 2010, when the play "The Gronholm Method" was staged on the stage of the capital’s Theater of Nations, and then in several other Russian theaters. The Nizhny Novgorod theater was among the pioneers of the play of Halseran for Russian audiences.

The design of the play was developed by the chief artist of the theater Boris Shlyamin in a modern style - a tough hi-tech, combined with all kinds of devices necessary during the play. According to him, the main task was to make the stage design so that the audience would not be distracted from the events taking place in the play.

The plot of the play takes place in the office of a large corporation, where the characters of the play came for an interview. Each of them is sure that an individual conversation will take place with him. However, it turns out that testing candidates for a well-paid position takes place in an unusual way. It turns out that for the sake of a career, each of them is ready to step over a lot.

The performance is presented as a psychological detective story, but at the same time it clearly sounds ironic, referring to the rules in force in modern "corporate culture".
