The premiere of the play "Fantasy Faryatyev" from the St. Petersburg director Oleg Kulikov took place in Pskov

PSKOV. Fans of the Pskov drama June 18 attended the premiere of the play “Faryatyev’s Fantasies”. The older generation of viewers remembers the magnificent movie, based on the play of the same name by playwright Alla Sokolova. A wonderful ensemble played in it, and the main stars were real stars - Manina Neyolova and Andrei Mironov.

“Faryatyev’s Fantasies”, which appeared in the repertoire of the Pskov drama, was so warmly received by the audience that from the first show of the performance it became clear that the audience’s love was guaranteed. This performance is simply bound to become popular - a wonderful plot of the play written by Alla Sokolova, professional skill of the St. Petersburg director Oleg Kulikov.

In the main role, the audience also saw the representative of the St. Petersburg theater world - Andrei Shimko, an artist well known to the theatergoers of St. Petersburg for his theater work. Many viewers fell in love with the images created on the stage by Andrei Shimko, including the heroes of Chekhov and Dostoevsky. The artist became Mercutio and Cyrano de Bergerac, Pierrot and Sancho Panso.

Oleg Kulikov staged performances both in St. Petersburg and in many other cities of Russia. In his creative luggage there are several performances created with student groups in England, and the director embodied The Karamazov Brothers on stage at the National Theater of Norway. Now, the Pskov audience has also become acquainted with the work of Oleg Kulikov.

According to the director, he managed to create a beautiful performance, slightly filled with irony, only thanks to the brilliant ensemble of actors of the Pskov drama. The play written at the end of the seventies received a new sound, because such dreamers as Faryatyev are enough today. They still live with dreams of universal happiness.
