This festival-competition provides an opportunity for students of acting schools to show their diploma works to the audience. Students from theater universities and colleges, theater studios come to Petersburg.

This year, the Apart Festival has significantly expanded the geography of places from where its participants arrived to participate in a theater forum. Students from Korea representing the University of Performing Arts have joined the graduates of Russian theater schools.

Korean young actors can be seen on June 22 on the stage of the House of Actor, where they will present their theatrical production of “Youthful Days of Korea” to the audience. The next day, young artists from Estonia will show their creativity. They brought to St. Petersburg three performances prepared with the help of director N. Lesina.

To show their performances, the stage of the Student Theater on Vasilyevsky is provided, where on June 23 they will show Ostrovsky’s play “Guilty Without Guilt” and the work of S. Maugham “Unconquered”. On the same stage, Estonian artists can be seen on June 24, when they will once again demonstrate to the audience their willingness to take their place in the world of theater. They will present the play “Be Healthy, Monsieur!”, Also staged by N. Lesina.

As always, seminars, creative meetings and master classes will be held for all participants of the Apart Festival, led by leading professional practitioners. On the first day of the festival, a demonstration of the work of the Unconditional Theater took place, where artists with health problems are busy. After the performance, a master class was held, in the framework of which they told how they help special children to show their abilities.
