Nizhny Novgorod Children’s Theater "Vera" opened a new season on the small stage of the Youth Theater

NIZHNY NOVGOROD. Artists of the children’s theater "Vera" began the work of the troupe on September 20 by showing the play "Winter’s Tale". This production, staged based on the wonderful poetic work of Shakespeare, is already familiar to some regular theatergoers.

However, more than two years have passed since the last time it was shown to the public. By the beginning of the new season, a beautiful performance has been restored. Now this beautiful fairy tale will again please the big and small fans of the Vera Theater.

Since the problems with the theater’s premises are still not resolved, in the new season, artists will continue to delight the audience at other people’s venues. Theater fans will see the first premiere of the season on September 23 at the Palace of Culture. Ordzhonikidze.

On the small stage of the Palace of Culture, the artists of the Vera Theater will show the play “Happy Hans” staged by director Vladimir Chervyakov based on the play by Mikhail Bartenev. The author used in the work he created, which tells with humor about the search for happiness, the motives of the fairy tale “Hans and Gold”, written by famous storytellers - the Brothers Grimm.

The music for the new performance of the Vera Theater was written by Lev Khaitovich, a Nizhny Novgorod composer, and the costumes for his heroes and the scenery giving the performance a special atmosphere were invented by the artist Andrei Mikhailov. This season, theater fans will see another premiere performance, scheduled for next spring. Its name has not yet been announced.

Before the new year, the artists of the Vera Theater will give children two New Year’s tales. The anniversary of the theater is its 25th anniversary, the theater staff has already celebrated, noting it in their circle. However, they are ready to listen to congratulations, even if they sound with a little recognition. In the Actor’s House on October 17, the Vera Theater celebrates its anniversary with a festive concert.
