Presentation of the first festival of youth theaters takes place in the Pskov Drama

PSKOV. Drama Theater Pushkin continues the cycle of events dedicated to his 110th birthday. For the first time in Pskov there is a festival of youth theaters. While this is only a presentation of the project, in the future the theater plans to hold an annual youth theater forum.

The first participants were young St. Petersburg actors representing the troupe of the Educational Theater “On Mokhovaya”. They showed Pskov viewers their unusual production of “Silent Cinema. Sentimental fever ", created by director Sergei Byzgu. This experimental work was among the most successful and extraordinary Russian performances of this year.

You can see her only in St. Petersburg. Now the Pskov theater-goers are among the spectators who became acquainted with the unique work of the theater “On Mokhovaya”. November 27 at the theater. Pushkin hosted the Pskov premiere of the original directorial work of Sergei Byzgu.

An unusual performance, shown with tremendous success in St. Petersburg, enlivens the first films shot in black and white on the stage. The special effects of the performance are created by analogy with those used in silent pictures. Instead of a phonogram of music, its live performance by a tapper sounds.

The next day, the theater hosted a creative meeting between director Sergei Byzgu and the audience. This meeting also became one of the festival events. In the evening, the audience will see another meeting with the work of the St. Petersburg director. Directed by the play “Vivaldi. Associations ”together with the author of the idea and director Sergey Byzgu took part Alisa Panchenko, eminent choreographer, winner of the Golden Mask.

The festival will be completed by the plastic performance “Holy” by the choreographer Rezida Gayanova. In the music of the play, rare folklore works are used.
