Volgograd Youth Theater presented the premiere of the musical choreographic performance "Cabaret Illusion"

VOLGOGRAD. The Youth Theater hosts premiere screenings of the new work of director Sergei Tyuzhin, presented to the public under the name “Cabaret Illusion”. Volgograd viewers for the first time see such an unusual performance on stage. Even the name of this musical-choreographic production allows everyone to interpret it in their own way.

In the classic version, the cabaret is a collection of diverse numbers, where all genres of art are present, from singing and dance numbers to pantomime and tricks. At the Youth Theater, viewers saw all these genres, but they are presented in an unusual form. As many surprises await the audience in each of the numbers, its creators called the production genre as a fountain of emotions.

The director says that the performance "Cabaret Illusion" owes its entire collective. The idea of staging came from Sergei Tyuzhin, and then, during its discussion, the improvisation of sketches began, often very unexpected. Gradually, the etudes turned into full-fledged numbers, in each of which the artists showed something of their own, personal, bringing into it something important for themselves.

The director responds with great warmth to the choreographer Denis Postoev, who, with his participation, unusually decorated the performance. He also co-authored this production. In the repertoire of the Youth Theater there is a performance “I Love and Hate”, popular with the audience. This is also a musical choreographic production, but the new work of theater artists differs significantly from it.

The performance “Cabaret Illusion” touched not only on the nuances in the relationship between man and woman. It talks about everything important in life - childhood, politics, lyrics. In the musical series of the performance, along with the phonogram of popular tunes, live vocals and musical instruments are used.
