In the Primorsky Theater. Gorky will soon begin a new theater season

VLADIVOSTOK. At a time when the artists of most Russian theaters have just gone on vacation, the Primorsky Theater. Gorky began preparations for work in the new season. At the troupe meeting, held on July 24 in the regional drama theater, they recalled the events associated with the theater’s tour in Moscow, and discussed plans for the upcoming anniversary season.

Congratulations on the occasion of significant events that took place in the lives of artists were also voiced. The new season this year will begin much earlier than usual. The first spectators will come to the theater on August 18 to see the performance of “Edith Piaf”, which premiered in May. Yefim Zvenitsky, artistic director of the theater, noted the success of the performances shown by the Primorsky drama during the capital’s tour.

Two performances presented to the audience in the capital will now be possible to see not only in the theater. The productions of "The Wall" and "Cruiser", created in the theater. Gorky, were shot in the form of 3D TV versions. During the upcoming Pacific Meridian Film Festival, a special screening of the film The Wall will take place.

Efim Semyonovich reminded the team that in the near future they will prepare students of the Institute of Arts for their participation in the play “Memorial Prayer”, which also went on tour in Moscow. Around the second decade of September, filming of the television version and this production will take place. Therefore, the introduction of new participants in the play will begin in the near future.

During the gathering, the artistic director handed the members of the troupe letters of appreciation from the Ministry of Culture, but the most significant award - an honorary diploma and a commemorative medal awaited actor Valentin Zaporozhets. He received an award from the Russian government for the excellent performance of the role of Midshipman Panafidin in the play "Cruiser".
