VORONEZH. Even the downpour did not prevent the audience from refusing to fill the theater hall to them. Koltsov, July 13, completed 215 theatrical season. The last performance of the season was the most striking performance of the premieres of this year - “The Cherry Orchard”. This last play by Chekhov, embodied on the stage of the Voronezh drama by its artistic director Vladimir Petrov, became a symbol of the season that ended.

In the theatrical competition “Bravo!” The performance received awards in four categories. In honor of the premiere of "The Cherry Orchard", theater artists planted an entire alley of cherry seedlings in a park near the Institute of Arts. The Chekhov play was not the only premiere of the past season.

Congratulating the artists on their vacation time, Vladimir Petrov noted that the season ended was a success for the theater. Five new performances appeared in the theater repertoire, one of the most beloved events among the audience - “Night at the Theater”. Also this year, the SITO project was held at the theater, within the framework of which sketches of performances staged by its participants were shown.

After the performance, the artists gave the audience a magnificent gift. On the stage created in the courtyard of the theater, the festive evening ended with a cheerful skit. It was called “Jam of the season”, for this reason the artists joked that they would no longer have traditional “skits”. They will be renamed into "vareniki".

During the evening, all the premiere performances of the anniversary season were presented in a joking manner. All the participants in the performances were expected sweet gifts - five varieties of jam. Tea was served with jam and the audience present at the gala evening.

Next season, spectators will come to the theater on October 7 to see the new directorial work of Vladimir Petrov - the famous Hamlet.
