The annual international action "The Night of Museums" in the Irkutsk Art Museum. V.P. Sukachev in 2017 will be held on May 20 and will be dedicated to the Year of Ecology. All departments of the museum participate in the action, each of which has prepared for its guests an interesting program related to current exhibitions. So, for example, in the Main Building it will be possible to listen to the stories of an experienced pirate at the Aivazovsky exhibition; in the Gallery of Siberian Art to attend a master class on making a poster; in the estate of V.P. Sukachev to take excursions to the exhibition of porcelain flowers and workshops on the production of floral arrangements; in the Gallery of sculpture - to participate in the quest.

In addition, in the main building of the museum (on Lenina 5) you can create a memorable eco-magnet yourself, see collections of clothes and jewelry made from natural materials, listen to the concert “Ecology of the Soul” and the musical improvisations of multi-instrumentalist Yevgeny Masloboev, exchange used batteries for tickets to the museum.

In the courtyard of the Gallery of Siberian Art (Marx St., 23) a mobile exhibition of young artists will be held, poets and musicians will perform, and on the second floor the Irkutsk Cinema House will show films of the “Man and Nature” festival.
