September 24 at 15.00 the Gallery of Classical Photography invites you to a creative meeting with a famous photographer, a member of the legendary photo club "Novator" Anatoly Boldin.

Anatoly Boldin is one of those who stood at the origins of the club movement of Soviet photography. Despite the general craze for digital, he still continues to be a supporter of the film. Without his photographs, it is difficult to understand what photoclubs are and what their significance was for the formation of a new photograph of the 1970-80s.

At the meeting, Anatoly Boldin will talk about his work and the work of his colleagues from the Novator Club. He will also share the secrets of creating pictures presented at the exhibition of the photo club. At the end of the event, guests will be able to personally communicate with the master and ask him questions.

Anatoly Boldin was born in 1937. In 1962 he graduated from the Moscow Technical University. Bauman and at the same time - Lecture of the photo report at the Central House of Journalists. From 1962 to 2014, he worked as an engineer at Moscow research institutes. Since 1964 - member of the Novator photo club. Over the past years has shown more than 140 works at 22 reporting and more than 100 works at 16 thematic exhibitions of the club; awarded with 18 club diplomas of various degrees. Participated in 15 All-Russian and All-Union photo exhibitions, APN exhibitions abroad: in inter-club exhibitions in 32 cities of the country; in international exhibitions in England, Belgium, Bulgaria, Brazil, East Germany, Denmark, India, Luxembourg, Poland, Russia, Romania, USA, Ukraine, France, Germany, Yugoslavia. Numerous personal exhibitions. He was repeatedly awarded with VDNKh medals both for labor activity and for work exhibited at photo exhibitions.
