The exhibition of Evgeny Bolsoboev "In the native nomads". Free tour on August 29th.

The exhibition "In the Nomads" by the Buryat artist and sculptor Evgeny Bolsoboev will be housed in the Siberian Art Department of the Irkutsk Art Museum at the following address: ul. Karl Marx, 23. This is the first solo exhibition of Evgeny Bolsoboev in Irkutsk.

The exhibition will feature paintings and graphic works by the artist, bronze sculpture. According to the researchers of E. Bolsoboev’s work, his work is a cast of the energy of time and space, night dances, bonfires, stone flames, sacred trees and ancestral spirits. Created in muted dark tones, the artist’s works reflect the secret world of shamanism, ancient legends and legends. Engravings on a shamanic theme are made in the style of a primitive cave drawing, but with a characteristic vision and attitude of a 21st century person. The artist’s works, addressed to centuries-old folk traditions, give the contemporary Buryat art national color and originality.

Evgeny Anatolyevich Bolsoboev was born in 1971. in the village of Khara-Sibir of the Chita region. He graduated from the Kyakhta Art College, then the Far Eastern State Academy of Arts (Vladivostok). The works are in the Republican Art Museum. C. S. Sampilov (Buryatia), Irkutsk Regional Art Museum. V.P. Sukachev, Museum of Russian Art in Harbin, in private collections in Russia, China, Germany, South Korea, Japan. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia (2008), a permanent participant in regional, national and international art exhibitions, awarded with an Honorary Diploma of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Buryatia for his contribution to the development of culture and art (2013), a diploma of the Union of Artists of Russia "For success in creativity and the development of fine art Of Russia ”(2010).
