The event is organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Kaluga Region, the Kaluga Regional Center for Folk Art, and the Kaluga Museum of Fine Arts.

Kaluga land has unique traditions of folk culture, including a variety of folk crafts, crafts, and fine art. The main objectives of the exhibition are to preserve and support the cultural heritage of our region, traditional and contemporary decorative and applied arts, and to educate and shape the aesthetic tastes of the younger generation.

Creative associations, artists and craftsmen from municipalities of the region will take part in the exhibition-competition. Kaluzhane and guests of the city will be able to see more than 1000 exhibits of various creative directions. This painting, graphics, ceramics, embroidery, weaving, patchwork, woodcarving, beadwork, felting, working with leather, and more.

The exhibition runs until June 11th.
