Exhibition "Theater and not only ... Artists of the theater, cinema and television of Moscow".

On August 6, 2015, at 16.00, the Kaluga Museum of Fine Arts opens the exhibition “The Theater and More… Artists of Theater, Cinema and Television of Moscow”.

This is a collective exhibition representing the contemporary art of scenography of drama, music and puppet theaters, theatrical costumes, the creation of art space in cinema and on television. The artists participating in the exhibition are united not only by similar principles of existence in art: active work with color and plastic, love of theater and cinema, honest, non-commercial attitude to their work, but also personal friendship. All of them have achieved a lot in their creative activity, their names are known in Russia and abroad.

Vladimir Soldatov is one of the creators and chief artist of the Moscow Drama Theater “SPHERE”. The author of scenography of more than 50 performances. Prize winner M.V. Lomonosov (gold medal). Member of the Moscow Union of Artists, member of the Union of Theater Workers of Russia. Honored Artist of Russia.

Ivan Milyaev is the chief artist of the Moscow Children’s Musical Theater Impromptu and the Tula Puppet Theater. Laureate of the prize named after V.A. Vatagin. Professor of the School-Studio (University) named after Vl. I. Nemirovich-Danchenko at the Moscow Art Theater named after A.P. Chekhov. Dean of the art and production department at the Humanitarian Institute of Television and Radio Broadcasting. M.A. Litovchina. Director of the Children’s Art School named after V.A. Vatagin. Member of the Union of Theater Workers of Russia. Honored Artist of Russia.

Natalya Voinova - costume designer of leading theaters in Moscow and other cities of Russia. In her creative luggage - joint productions with directors S. Artsibashev, A. Vasiliev, N. Gubenko, M. Karbauskis, A. Ofenheim, A. Pokrovskaya and others. A constant participant in Russian and international art and theater exhibitions. Laureate of the “Seagull” prize in the Pret-a-porter nomination for costumes for the play “Utopia Coast”, second part of “Shipwreck”, directed by A. Borodin, Russian Academic Youth Theater, 2007. Awarded with a diploma of the Russian Academy of Arts. Member of the Moscow Union of Artists.

Elena Eliseeva - production designer of the Central Film Studio for Children and Youth Films named after Gorky. Over the years of work in the cinema, she took part in more than forty films. Recently, she has been engaged in TV shows, including the acclaimed "Yesenin," "His Name was Nikita," which was released on screens under the title "Who’s the Boss", "Saboteur 2". Daughter of the astronaut A. Eliseev.

Elena Gorina - painter, graphic artist. Graduated from Moscow State Art Institute. IN AND. Surikov. Member of the Moscow Union of Artists and the international creative organization "SPLENDER DES BEAUX-ARTS" (France). She was awarded a diploma of the Russian Academy of Arts.

Anna Efimova - graphic artist, costume designer, teacher. He teaches at the Moscow Children’s Art School No. 3 named after V.A. Vatagina. The author of costumes and dolls for performances of the Moscow Children’s Musical Theater "Impromptu" and the Tula Puppet Theater. Twice winner of the prize. V.A. Vatagina.

At the exhibition "Theater and more…" will be presented sketches of scenery and costumes, paintings and graphic works, photographs.

The curator of the exhibition is Svetlana Klepova, head of the scientific and educational department of the museum.

The exhibition will run until August 23, 2015 in the exhibition hall of the Kaluga Museum of Fine Arts at the address: Kaluga, st. Lenin, 104.
