Exhibition of artist Alina Lesova - "Russian North".

Until July 15, the exhibition "Contemporary Art" Alte Lesova - "Russian North" will last in the Arte Creative Gallery.

Landscapes of the Leningrad and Pskov region, Karelia, are majestic and severe nature with its amazing character. Alina managed to understand him and not only see the beauty in the rainy, gray sky, humid fog and pink-red sunsets, but also talk about it in her works.

The artist works mainly in the open air, in any weather, from early morning until late at night, trying to capture the very elusive moment when nature reveals itself in all its glory. Lake water dilutes the color pigment, snowflakes that have fallen on a still-wet pattern leave bizarre traces. The finished composition dries around the fire.

Watercolor, perhaps, no matter how any other technique is able to reflect the weightless subtle tonal transitions. Landscapes are often almost monochrome: gradation from lilac gray to grayish green. Static, eternal, spruce and flexible slender branches of aspens against the background of a silvery cloudy haze do not threaten at all, but rather, they have a calm contemplation. The unusually large sizes of graphic works are immersed in a state of meditative communion with the secret.

The mystery of nature, fragile and great, is revealed to the artist at the time of creation and is transmitted to an attentive viewer.
