The joint project of the artist Lyudmila Beresneva and the composer Yegor Lipin entitled “Dualism” provides its audience with the opportunity to perceive paintings through music and music through paintings, as they were created in contact with each other, in a dialogue between the artist and the composer. Under all the pictures there is a special QR code, by scanning which, the visitor of the exhibition will be able to hear the sound of each of the pictures. Headphones, music, the visual image of the picture and the text image under each picture allow for some time to disconnect from the outside world and go into the world of feelings and sensations.

“At present, painting for me is like oxygen, without which there is no way to live, feel and react to the world around us. This is an opportunity to react to the most base and dark, and the beautiful and bright in all manifestations, ”shared Lyudmila.

“I chose the musical direction, because I really like silence and a minimum of noise. Why use words if music can tell so much more than all people put together? I love St. Petersburg, it inspires me with my multiculturalism and a combination of seemingly incompatible things, ”said Yegor Lipin.
