KUBATURASHARA - an attempt to reflect one of the most famous unsolvable construction tasks using a compass and a ruler, known as the "squaring the circle", which in turn has long had an allegorical meaning, denoting some unsolvable task, all impossible and unattainable.

In this project, the artists, transforming the “quadrature of the circle” into volume, outlined the paradox of comprehending the multifaceted relationship between the ball and the cube, as deep opposing symbols.

This is a kind of attempt, through the game of spheres and cubes, to touch the transcendent, following the philosophy of Nikolai Kuzansky, the concept of which was the union of opposites in the One, where all visible contradictions between incompatible ones are resolved.

And the philosopher considers the game itself at several levels, the highest of which is the metaphysical: “In my opinion, no decent game is devoid of any instructiveness. And our exercise with a ball, so fascinating, hides, I think, a lot of philosophy. ”

In the most diverse traditions and cultures from the Far East to the Far West, there are universal symbols: the square-symbol of the Earth. Circle symbol of Heaven. While the sphere, as the initial state, represents the cyclic state and movement, the cube is the final stage of this cycle in stillness, and symbolically fits into the circle.

The square itself is a symbol of form, that is, manifestation, as opposed to a circle.

The circle is the absence of form, that is, not manifest, a symbol of infinity and eternity, the absence of time, as the beginning and end, of space, as the top and bottom.

The circle is devoid of inner pairs of opposites and means integrity, harmony and primordial perfection.

A cube is also a folded cross, and the analogue of a cube in four-dimensional space is the Tesseract, a hypercube that exists in four dimensions of space, where the transformation of internal space into external occurs if at least one additional dimension exists in our world. And vice versa, the transition of the external to the internal. The diversity of space is shown by hypercubes from 0 cube - points to 10 cube - Dekekt and so on to infinity…

In general, V.P. Zinchenko wrote about the mutual transition of the external and internal in psychology, believing this to be a “miracle”. So, when will we be able to solve the riddle of the cube and the ball, to comprehend the fourth dimension? When will the inside become larger than the outside and when will the point contain infinity? We believe in a miracle!
