Exhibition project "Hearing about me will pass through the whole of Great Russia ...". On the 220th birthday of A.S. Pushkin

During the project, about 80 works from the collection of the Kaluga Museum of Fine Arts will be presented, illustrating episodes from the life and work of A.S. Pushkin. During the year, topics such as “Youth A.S. Pushkin "," Tales of A.S. Pushkin ”,“ Pushkin era ”,“ History of Russia in the work of A.S. Pushkin "," Pushkin places "," A.S. Pushkin and the Romanovs ”,“ A.S. Pushkin at the Linen Factory ”,“ Illustrations to The Bronze Horseman ”and“ Poltava ”and“ The Death of the Poet ”.

The exhibition will feature works by Russian artists of the 19th century, such as The Death of Oleg by Viktor Vasnetsov, Odessa by Fedor Vasiliev, Gurzuf by Ivan Aivazovsky; graphic works of Soviet masters, in particular, the classic of Russian graphics Matvey Dobrov, illustrations by Vladimir Favorsky, Fedor Konstantinov, Alexei Kravchenko, as well as unique engravings of the 17th-19th centuries, sculpture, books and furniture.

The exhibition project will last throughout 2019.
