Lost title: The coronation of Emperor Napoleon I and Empress Josephine in Notre-Dame Cathedral on December 2, 1804. (This is indicated on detail #4). ❯❯❯
Mr. Nosikov, Wikipedia is not always accurate, and it seems you are checking the authors names based on it. Turchi is incorrect; according to Russian-Italian practical transcription, CH is read as K. If it were written Turci, you would be right. ❯❯❯
In the catalog of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts painting gallery, the name is generally written as Vanloo. According to the Dutch-Russian practical transcription, OO is read as O.If you have suggestions for translations or author names, please reme ❯❯❯
The painting is magnificent; however, the transition from earth to sky isnt as good as Veroneses, but thats something Rubens doesnt really care about. ❯❯❯
For example, theres a French artist named Nicolas de Larjilleur, but some overly nationalistic person would only accept Nikola with the emphasis on the o. No matter what argument you present to this type of patriot, they will only hear themselves. And they ❯❯❯

Hello! The image is in the public domain. It has been 153 years since Eugene Delacroixs death. Two-dimensional photographs of paintings do not have their own copyright. You are free to use it. ❯❯❯
This painting is on display at the Museum of Fine Arts in Pau [Pyrénées-Atlantiques]. It was originally attributed to the Louvre Museum by the Office of Private Assets and Interests, then deposited in Pau under the number MNR 114 – D.52.2.3. ❯❯❯
The men in the background clearly seemed taken aback: there were two of them, and three women. How will they divide things, and how much will each have to pay? ❯❯❯
If we compare all of Ingres paintings on this subject, we can see that sometimes the splashes of water obscure the nudity of the woman, and sometimes they dont. It would be incredibly interesting to know who commissioned which versions. ❯❯❯
The word Medusa is the name of a ship, and it should be put in quotation marks. In general, no matter how many descriptions I read of the painting, the figure that attracts me most is the Black man with the red flag. ❯❯❯
The painting is viewed from an external perspective, and the artist himself is positioned exactly in the middle. Its as if he considers himself to be someone who doesnt take sides or belong to any particular group – neither fully for nor against anything. ❯❯❯
I cant understand what kind of benefactor this is. The legitimate question is: where did these vices even come from in the Garden of Virtue, and in such quantity that Minerva herself had to be called for help? ❯❯❯

It would be more accurate to call Rubens painting a proxy marriage rather than an arranged marriage.
Joan of Arc, not Jeanne Dark.
