From October 5 to October 31 in the GUM is organized by the Film Studio. M. Gorky exhibition "Ancient costume in the cinema." It presents about 100 items of clothing and accessories from different eras - from the middle of the XIX to the end of the twentieth century. All of them were used in films created at the Gorky studio, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2015.

It included items specially created for films, as well as antiques, and rare costumes that the creators of paintings bought from the population.
